today i met an interesting man. we'll call him Rob. Rob was standing on a ladder, painting a collumn in the education building with a little paintbrush.
swipe, swipe, swipe.
he told me that this is his third lap painting through all the buildings at cal poly. he's worked here for 28 years.
i hope this man enjoys his job.
because otherwise it would be hell.
you paint all the buildings, then you start over again. and it takes you 10 years to do it!
i would find that depressing.

i like the fact that if i was an elementary school teacher for 28 years, i would teach about 1,000 students. if i taught junior high, it would be something like 6,000.
