my local public library now looks like one of those photographs of a hard-hit town in tornado alley. it is a pile of wood and metal with bulldozers, which makes me think that probably i can't go there and check out that book i've been wanting to read since like september.

evidently they are remodeling.

i guess it would be rebuilding, wouldn't it... anyways, the library will probably not return in a usable state until i no longer live a 3 minute walk from it.

you'd think that i'd visit the damn library more than once in the 7.5 months i've lived here, but i guess 3 minutes is just too long to walk. now i'll have to drive 12 minutes and we all know that i'm too lazy for that too.
