the three movies i have seen on tcm in the last two days:

that touch of mink (1962)
pillow talk (1959)
my favorite wife (1940)

each one was completely based on sexual innuendo. that touch of mink and pillow talk both had doris day as sexually passive women pursued by playboys. they didnt want sex, the guy did. the last one was basically about bigamy, with a presumed dead wife showing up the day of her husbands new marriage.

i'm not sure what part of these movies i had more of a problem with.
