it rained ash at my house. plus, the sky was so sooty that the sun was reddish orange and dim enough that we could look right at it. i saw the sunspots on the sun! it was crazny.

this fire isn't that close to us, the santa ana winds are just moving all the smoke our way. makes me think of the laguna canyon fire in 1993-- that one was close. anyways, ben's brother and sister in law have been evacuated from their house in san diego. it's right next to a canyon, so pray that everything's okay for them.

i'm back in slo now, and i'm going to watch a movie with ryanne at 7.45. :o) it feels so nice to not have tons of homework
