Every day it is looking less likely that I will be moving out of this apartment at the end of June. There just isn't anything comparable in my price range, which is frustrating. Housing in the bay area sucks. You'd think that I'd be able to find a 1 bedroom apartment for less than the $1,100 a month I'll have to pay here if I stay...
I just need to buy a house. It would totally solve all my problems.

wow, that is freakin' expensive. i live with one other person in a 3bdrm for $800 a month. sometimes i think about moving to toronto but realize there would be no way i'd ever be able to afford the rent.
when i was in college a couple of years ago i lived in a 6 bdrm house that was $850 and me and my roommates thought that was so expensive. it was seriously the sweetest house ever.
My last year of college four of us lived in a two bedroom for 1085 a month. The rent had gone down from 1300 because we renewed our lease.
I wish my rent at this place went down instead of up when I renewed! It was 990, 1049, and now 1105.
Can you imagine the rent shock if you moved to New York City?
