my students elected bush this morning in a sweeping 14 to 9 vote. (there were a few abstainers)

in fact, i could safely say that we elected bush surrounded by hearts and stars, because for some reason my students were liking such ballot decorations.

the kids vote for whoever their parents talk about, so it is fun times. i wouldn't tell them who i was voting for, because as one little girl said, "it isn't nice to ask!"
