I feel dumb...

I just was watching the first episode of Grey's Anatomy on DVD, and I realized that when Patrick Dempsey keeps talks about how much he loves "fairy boats," he is really talking about loving "ferry boats."

dumb dumb dumb. I've been wondering what fairy boats were for three seasons now.

I have set up a Flickr account, here, with photos of all the things I've been knitting. I think I'd like to fix up some sort of sidebar thing with a photo of what I'm working on, and maybe even a progress bar with a percentage thing like I've seen around. Hm....

Today was my first Christmas! I had dinner and presents with Steve's family. It is always strange because all the presents are either to me or from me, so I end up with a crazy amount and everyone else has one. Sillyness!

I'm home sick for the second day in the last week and a half. This is (I think) a completely different cold, too.

I went to work, but my barely-there voice and icky dry throat were pretty obvious. I figure if the principal tells you to go home, you should.

Hey! If you are concerned about global warming, I have great news! According to this article, even a little nuclear war could cool our planet!(!!!) Hurray for nuclear war....

A Very Good Church

If you'd like to come to Sunnyvale, California, you can come to services at The Very Good Church of Silicon Valley. I got a big kick out of it when I drove by the place last week. Maybe the sentiment comes across better in Korean....

There has been much knitting afoot! Since Friday, I've made 3 felted boxes, a largish purse, and I have started a small purse. The purses still need to be felted (Thrown into a hot washing machine to shrink and stiffen them.)

Tonight I shaved the fuzz off my felted boxes. Word to the wise: don't shave fuzzy knitted objects while wearing black corduroy pants. I had to vacuum myself, and then use four of those lint roller sheets before I was de-fuzzed enough.
