Is it bad form to talk about your bra size on the internet? Probably. But, I am busting at the seams (ha ha ha) with this particular tidbit of information.

I recently (yesterday) found out that my bra size is very, very different from what I thought it was. You see, I was wearing a 34B until this summer, when I realized that a 32C fit me better. Those two sizes are basically the same, except that a 32C is smaller in the band, which translates into a larger difference between the band and the around the biggest part of you measurement.

Over the last few months I began to have a sneaking suspicion that the 32C might not be large enough. This was confirmed yesterday, when I had to spend almost $300 at Nordstrom's on all new bras... in size 32D. According to the lady, I could also probably wear a 30DD, because I am right on the border of a 32 or a 30.

I had barely gotten used to the idea of being a C, so this is really throwing me for a loop. Mind you, I have not gained any weight since the 20 pounds I put on between the age of 19 and 22.

This means I can no longer buy bras at Victoria's Secret or Gap Body. Even at a 32C, there were only a few styles available. I can't believe that I am so unusual of a size that I have to go to specialty stores or Nordstroms and pay 2-3 times more for a simple bra... I'm used to being rather small, not too big!

Anyways. I'm done sharing.

Last night I dreamed about these carpet tiles. I also dreamed that someone gave me a basket, so that my problem with needing one for a gift basket for my school's fundraising auction was solved! I was so dissapointed when I realized halfway through today that I just dreamed that up. Damn. I still need one....

Ugh. I haven't posted in too long.

We got a new washer/dryer, although our landlord won't pay to replace the ripped up sheets... I am way excited because it will fit loads that are twice as large as the old one.

Today I visited Bobbin's Nest Studio in Santa Clara, which is a new knitting and sewing store. I bought some yarn which seriously confused me as to what I should make from it. I mean... it was beautiful, but my only ideas were scarves and baby things. Since I am not going to be having any babies for a while, I really don't need another baby sweater for the non-existant child. (I already have one. The unbaby had better be a girl, or else a boy who likes wearing purple and green.)

I spent like 40 minutes in the store, completely befuddled. About two minutes after I got home, I realized that I should make it into a Clapotis. Duh... So, Erin, if you read this before I call on Tuesday, I'm going to need another skein of yarn!
